Northwest Wonderland was founded by Avi Leanne Taylor, a Seattle native and Western Washington University Alumni passionately seeking to bridge the gap between where people are and where they'd like to be. In this case, via cannabis; and also in present or past with Energy Medicine, Healing, Clarity Coaching, Marketing/Branding, Teaching, and Business Consulting.
She feels most at home in great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest, as often as possible taking solo adventures deep into the woods to rejuvenate her wings. An explorer by nature; traveling the world, immersing herself in new cultures and learning new languages is to her, like a waking dream.
A proud member of the Seattle Chef's Collaborative, a top national
organization of restaurants, chefs, farmers and artisanal natural food producers. Avi was the owner of the first ever marijuana business admitted into this exclusive organization in 2011.
Avi is also the founder and host of Infused Events, a cannabis inspired events company. Infused Events made local and international news in 2014 by hosting the first cannabis event of it's kind in Washington State, Cannabis Carnivalus. The event featured canna-burlesque and boylesque, cannabis inspired live art and live nude art, cannabis music sets from local DJ's, edible face painting by a James Beard Award winning chef, infusion workshops, joint rolling workshops, and more.
Avi has spent the past 14 years focusing her studies on nutrition, the connection between life events and trauma to the body, the power of the mind, and natural pain relief while healing from countless major injuries. She found herself passionately exploring the endless realm of possibilities made present with cannabis-infused creations. She's created logos, custom infused edible creations for stores, and advised many patients within the medical marijuana industry, all the while fine tuning her own creations and reimagining new remedies. It is an absolute joy to share these offerings, from which she herself has experienced so much relief, with the world, and to further bridge the gap with where people are, and where they'd like to be.
